May the 4th Be with You!

May the 4th be with you!  Happy Star Wars Day!

Every May 4th holds a special meaning for me. As it brings back memories of my time working as a visual effects artist on the film “Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” in Marin County, California back in 1996.

It’s a day symbolizing not just a professional milestone, but a journey of passion, perseverance, and creative fulfillment. As the world celebrates the enduring magic of Star Wars on this day, I’m reminded of the countless hours spent immersed in crafting digital worlds and bringing characters to life.

Each May 4th, I find myself reflecting on the camaraderie of my colleagues, the exhilaration of seeing our collective efforts on the big screen, and the profound impact of storytelling on both the audience and the creators behind the scenes.
