My Conversation with God about 2024
We all like to start out the new year with big goals and resolutions for the new year. Because I am wanting more Divine guidance this year, I decided to ask God what my big goals should be for 2024.
The conversation started on New Year’s eve, but I wasn’t listening. Then again this morning on New Year’s Day Jan 1, 2024 I tried again. It went something like this…
Me: God, I want clear direction from you. What should I do this year with my life? How can I help impact people and make a big difference?
God: Clean out your pantry.
Me: But, God, that is so banal and mundane! I want something more profound.
God: Clean your refrigerator and freezer while you are at it. Then move onto the rest of the house!
Me: But God, how is that going to make a big impact in the world?
God: You can’t get to the next thing, till you clear out your clutter and noise. I’ll let you know when you are ready, for now just do it!
So that is what I’m doing this year, cleaning out old stuff and not questioning it. As the answers will become clearer once I can see clearly through old stuff that is weighing me down.
Sometimes your answers are very simple!
